ABOUT ME

My girlfriend and I have recently left Bangkok where we were living for nearly four years. We were both teachers working in International Schools and although it was hard work we both loved teaching.

I would say we are positive, humorous, optimistic and laid back people who take a genuine interest in people and the stories they have to tell.

We each have our passions in life where mine is my job and swing dancing, my girlfriends passions are dancing, photography, cooking and snowboarding.

Since the 9th July we have started our world tour together and have/will visit Mongolia - China - Nepal - India - Thailand - Malaysia - New Zealand - Australia - Argentina - Chile - Brazil?- USA.

PHILOSOPHY

We both like to meet people, especially travelers as they have many stories to tell about the world. So we wish to help those that need it, exchange stories and build friendships.

We also love to travel and experience different countries and cultures. Experiencing the diverse nature of the world is something we both highly value and appreciate 😃

If you are traveling to Bangkok/Thailand and need a few pointers please get in contact.

As we are traveling we can't host and instead we are looking to expand our Couchsurfing experience by staying with other people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't Couchsurfed yet, but my girlfriend has. Before leaving Bangkok we had the chance to host and meet some lovely people, we now hope to connect with more awesome people, but this time as surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC - I know it's not the best answer, but we both have an eclectic range in music tastes going from 1940's swing music - (good) electronic music - Motown - folk - Hip hop - acoustic guitar singers and everything in between.

FILMS- Bloody hell have you got 3 days to spare hmmm this too would be a long list but some favourites are Amelie, Little Miss Sunshine and Lord of the Rings.

BOOKS- Game of thrones and The Hungry Caterpillar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Without doubt making the tough decision to move to Thailand. This has opened up so many fantastic opportunities and experiences for us, where we not only met each other, but have travelled to some amazing countries in our four years here.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you how to swing dance or do some solo Charleston 😃

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook some delicious meals (well my girlfriend can, she is truly an amazing cook) and teach you how to swing/Charleston/jazz dance either on your own or with a partner.
