I am a Musician, Audio Engineer, and Film Maker. I love traveling, meeting new people and, more importantly, trying new food.

I strongly believe that food brings people together. I like to cook and learn new recipes.

I'm from Bogotá, Colombia, which is an amazing place to visit and I strongly encourage everyone to give it a try. Colombia has so many beautiful landscapes, warm hearted people and delicious food (once again: very important).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way to know a place is by getting to know those who live in it. Everyone has a great story, an amazing recommendation, cool tips, and many more things to offer, which really makes the experience of traveling even better.

Even though I've used it very few times, I find that people on couchsurfing have a lot in common, specially this love of traveling, and it makes for excellent conversations.

Interests

I love stories. Either telling them or listening to them. Which is why I love film, books, and tv so much. I really like reading an amazing description of a place or listening to some very carefully made conversations in a movie or experiencing how colors and sound can tell a story by themselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like instrumental music, perhaps because I like making it also, but I think that there is a perfect moment for any genre of music, though.

I'm even easier to please when it comes to movies. I could go see an action block buster or go for comedy. Some days it's mistery or horror films which I pick. I really like watching them and analyzing them.

My library consists on mostly fiction/fantasy stories both in english and spanish. There are some amazing Colombian writers and we may talk about them any time. I've been recently reading all the original Sherlock Holmes stories, which I find fascinating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my trips to Europe was made with no preparations at all. I just bought the tickets, boarded the plane, and improvised for one month. I met some really cool people from Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.

I could give guitar or piano lessons. Also I can teach music theory. Some cooking tips from Colombia or Pakistan.
