Overview
About Me
I'm Burtejin, originally from Mongolia, but grew up in Hungary. Currently, I am doing a PhD in Political Science at the Central European University in Budapest. I am very passionate about gender issues, so I also work for an NGO, which promotes gender equality.
I am a very active and curious person who loves to travel, meet new people and eat good food. You can see my travel pictures on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/burtejin/). I have been teaching in Myanmar, did my Erasmus in Potsdam/Berlin, lived in Malta for 4 months, and also worked in a summer camp in California.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the idea of CS is really cool because you can meet interesting local people while saving some money. The best part for me is that you get to know locals, which makes it possible to explore the city in a different way. I really enjoy traveling to places where I have a local friend who can give tips about where to eat, which places to visit, etc.
