ABOUT ME

Although I love my career and it allows me to travel, my passion is helping others. I volunteer with young kids at a school, and I work closely with others in my community to help them recover from alcoholism. If I'm not working I am usually working out, walking my dog, cuddling my dog, playing with my dog, hiking, biking, reading, writing, playing guitar, baking, seeing live gigs, visiting places in my beautiful country or hangin with family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things I've seen: People hopelessly in the desperation and despair of alcoholism have transformed before my eyes, their beliefs and attitudes have been rearranged, their roots have grasped new soil.

Amazing things I've done: Hiked the Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountains, the Inca Trails, and Switzerland :)

I am a former farm girl that grew up on a little farm with my parents. We milked our 1 cow and my mom made cream and butter. We milked goats because I couldn't drink dairy. We gathered eggs, chopped heads off chickens, (not for food just for the hell of it haha jk) grew an enormous garden and baked all our own bread/desserts etc.

Then we moved to a ranch with horses and cattle and took city folks riding in the mountains every summer. We cooked on a campstove, slept under the stars, fished in the creeks, carried guns on our saddles and I caught, saddled, packed and rode horses with such a love and passion I thought I'd be on horseback for the rest of my life.
Then we moved to the city. I lost myself for a few years; my true self, and revealed only shadows of the former me when I wasn't trying to be someone that I wasn't.
Then I started to travel.
