About Me
hej surfers!
people call me roko and for now, you can find me based between the alps, adriatic sea and the pannonian basin. studying life has been my hobby for five years now. some call it biology, but i like to see it as learning along the way. other than that, i like spending time doing anything creative that fulfills me (or others around me). i don't mind if my current focus is on multiple tasks at once. i'm always trying to find a balance between exploring life and making intentional decisions anyway. perfectionism is my biggest flaw, but also an advantage.
adrenaline, spending time in countryside, discussions with elderly members of our society or playing games that boost creativity in children, antique, analog, dusty, rusty items, romanticizing reality, activism, documentary film / photography, foraging mushrooms, earth
- love that
anything that has a positive impact in the universe sparks an interest in me. i would love to criticize "our" system with you, but not much as collaborating to destroy the injustice ( :
for me, like most things, dream is a process. my ultimate dream - living on a fair planet. my next dream - keeping it like that for future life forms.
also, i don't drink or smoke. sorry. not sorry
thats it. i'm happy to hear your story now. let's meet up
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
to learn, listen to, be inspired and inspire. i believe cs is a door to meet the best individuals of the 21st century. it makes my mind less trapped and more grounded every time i host/surf. i like traveling solo, so these two go together like hummus and a celery stick
+ i think it says a lot about you if you are willing to accept a stranger in your home. exchanging couches is changing our society. we just need more surfers.
Interests
if you like discussing interests in person as me, let's leave this for later. there is no such thing as being ispired by stories of interactions between people and nature. hearing those is something that can change the world and i don't want to lose that in non-virtual environment

Music, Movies, and Books
play me a song by gregory alan isakov and you'll see me in a state of delirium
i adore movies based on a true story. maybe this is also why i rather like spending my time searching for a movie material in real life than wacthing it.
even though i rarely read or watch movies, i'm always keen to explore your style by recieving a book/movie/song recommendation (or basically any art-piece). and above all, to understand personal reasons behind something you like or appreciate
