ABOUT ME
I interested in digging deeper and finding my place interconnected madness of our planet, and to add my weight to efforts to make positive change happen.
PHILOSOPHY
enjoy; get involved; take it easy; be kind; care for others; have fun even if it makes you look like a twit; take in what's around you; boogie.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have surfed around overseas and have lived for two years in a house that almost constantly has at least one person crashing on the couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience: I arrive at sunset on Christmas day to Utrecht and was met by a grinning kiwi with venison steak and roast veggies in the oven, a record player with Pink Floyd playing, a bottle of vodka under the tree with my name on it, and a bowling alley with a friend on the desk waiting for us to come and bowl all night for free.
Also, May 17 in Norway with a bunch of great couch-surfing hosts.
Interests
Primarily I'm interested in good times and good people
weird and wonderful places, food in my belly, music in my ears, cheap thrills, ground breaking dance moves, jumping off high stuff, making people laugh whatever it takes, hugs and kisses, opening my eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Blues, Rock'n'Roll (classic and contemporary), Swing, Classical, Electronica, Funk, 90's grunge, Folk, Soul, Classic Rhythm & Blues and anything that catches my ear that's original or distinctive, whether it's international or just a busker on the street.
Books: (first to mind) He Died With a Felafel in his Hand; A short History of Nearly Everything, Ideas: A History from Fire to Freud; Silent Spring; Anything Tim Flannery; Jack Kerouac; Thoreau; Bucky Fuller, Christopher Hitchens ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping off a 125m waterfall and swinging out into a gorge, built an entire wall of beer cans in my kitchen which resembled a scene from Mario Bros, watching a mother whale breach with her young as our dinghy continued to take on water and sink 20m away, witness a remote Australian beach get torn apart while the Indian Ocean served it 12 foot swells that you could see coming from the horizon, a giant wooden man burning in the Nevada desert, Camille live in concert, Shan State on motorbike, to be continued...
