About Me

ABOUT ME

Right now, Im studying in Alicante, Spain, and Im always up for meeting new people and working on mi espanol, (which needs a good bit of polishing) On another note, Ive had a pretty good upbringing if I may be so bold..I have a great family, that has a lot of influence in my life, and great friends, I come from the southern states of the US, but unlike a lot of the sterotypes, I try to maintain an open mind.

PHILOSOPHY

Have a good sense of humor, choose your battles, and give the benefit of the doubt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think this is a great way to meet people with a common interest: traveling.

Interests

I have played soccer all of my life, I played two years for my university in Nashville, TN and then transferred to Auburn University and I play on the club team there. I am studying building contracting, and I want to one day own a international construction company. I like anything outdoors, Id rather visit eco-tourist countries rather than the big cities. I love the beach or any body of water for that matter.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where is Joe Merchant? by Jimmy Buffett
Life of Pi by Yann Martel
The entire Hardy Boys series
The Wishbone version of "The Odyssey"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive worked on a farm in Namibia, Africa. That was probably the best experience of my life, I had three months without a cell phone, and I could only use the internet every other week or so, (its tough to ween yourself of that you know..) Every morning on the way to work, I would see herds of animals and its pretty futile to try and describe the feeling right here, if you ever stay here, we will talk about it!
