About Me

I like last minute requests as I'm spontaneous by myself!

Open minded and always up for new experiences.

Roaming the world since January 2017 when I quit my job, sold my apartment and took a one way ticket to Bangkok to exploring what I can learn from other people.

2017 I hitchhiked from Hungary to Sweden during six weeks and this gave me a taste for more.

The next trip would be a hitchhiking journey from Marrakesh, Morocco to Goa, India with a lot of detours while doing a video project.

However this one I never finished since I after four months almost got killed by a speeding car in Montpellier, France.
At first I was devastated that I could not finish my dream journey, but thankful to be alive. Later this actually turned into a blessing and lead me to find a new passion in life… Shell art!

Since late 2018 I spent my time in Sweden exploring what shell art mean to me. Now I recently got the opportunity to move to Amsterdam to continue that journey.

After having so many amazing people host me and help me on my way through I would now like to pay it forward to offer you my couch here in Amsterdam as I know how hard it is to find a place to sleep here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Connecting with people when I travel is for me as important as finding new beautiful places on our planet. This is why Iove both Couchsurfing and hitchhiking, its another way of connecting with local people wherever i go.

As I don’t travel myself at the moment this is a way for me to pay it forward while still meeting other travelers and keeping that fire going.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music all the way from old school rock to techno and world music.

Just finished reading "The mountains shadow" by Gregory David Roberts.
Currently reading Danziger's travels by Nick Danziger.

Love movies like Samsara and Baraka but mostly watch documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man 2016, this might sound like a cliche but this was a defining moment in life for me on more then one level.

Part of build crew for "Yggdrasil - the tree of life" at AfrikaBurn 2017, a 35m tall art pice in the middle of the dessert.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can play some poi or juggle. Maybe check out some seashells and I got plenty of hitchhiking stories to share :)

What I Can Share with Hosts
