Overview
About Me
Most of my life has been coloured by living in different countries and studying the Middle East which has filtered me into a niche line of work that allows me yet more travel. I'm massively into music (electronic/folk - anything with soul or a beat).
I'm keen to get to know people, what drives them and where they find their peace.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel solo a lot and CS usually provides a good balance between the solitude of walking around a city on your own and being taken to a hidden bar with your host to dance the night away or have a homemade meal :D
I also think CS is an enriching experience and I really value the human connections I have made in every place.
Interests
I will listen to any kind of music and try to understand where it is coming from. I'm comfortable at an armenian rap battle, a classical performance at a conservatoire, a Nigerian disco night or a sit-down affair appreciating the most intense and conceptual sound art (bring on the drones).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Celebrating Kurdish new year on the Syria-Iraq border in 2010.
What I Can Share with Hosts
