ABOUT ME

I identify strongly with the opening line I have used for this profile - "to meet someone who is blessed, so you shall be blessed too." It is a line from a beautiful sufi poem that has much resonance with the world and the experience of many people within it. One of the reasons CouchSurfing drew me in is the opportunity to meet people who are blessed, who may have something that would enrich my life, people who I can create value with.

I am calm, charming, and compelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being based in Birmingham with an intimate knowledge of the city centre and many areas further out, I'd be happy to meet people for food and drinks at any point. I'm also looking forward to some travelling around the UK.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None - as yet. My sister, however, has had many positive experiences so far and I identify very strongly in the communal ideals this experience stands for.

Books - 19th century Russian Lit,. Tom Holt, Douglas Adams, Herman Hesse, Hunter S Thompson, Jack Kerouac, Books that discuss science, mathematics, sociology, and philosophy, all these amongst others.

Music - Funk, Jungle, Folk, Sufi poetry, Techno, Acid House, there's so many things I like haha.

Movies - I don't really watch many films, but Anchorman is a lot of fun and I recently enjoyed V for Vendetta very muchly. Please, do share the movies you love with me!
