About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I currently study economics at the university of Copenhagen which is super exiting. Previously I've studied double bass at the academy of music, so my lifestyle has changed quite a bit.
In my free time I spend lots of time at the historical dorm I live in. It is populated by the greatest people, and we spend a great many hours drinking wine, enjoying the sun, discussing all kind of things and plotting new adventures and revenges.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be tolerent to most things but intolerence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met some people both in Copenhagen and other places, and hosted a few. I'd love to host some more, but since I only have one small room I can't host very often now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The greatest couchsurfing experience I had was when a friend and I stayed with Dilek in Istanbul for two weeks. We really got along, had great discussions, shared many interests depite our big age difference and she showed us many, many things.

Interests

I like many kinds of music, and really enjoy it live.. and then I like books, movies, cooking, politics, economics, culture, traveling, traveling, traveling, biking, talking...

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite directors are Lars von Trier, Emir Kustorica, Hayayo Miyazaki, and Wes Andersson, but I am open to most things, especially when I have a hangover. I like documentaries in particular.

Music: I have a very broad taste. I like classical music a lot (mostly German and Russian composers) but also experimental jazz, a cool crooner, dirty cumbia or all the great classics at the dancing floor.

I love to read! I never have the time duing the semesters, but I see it as a special treat to get to read in the holidays.
To mention a few writers: Jonathan Safran Foer, Paul Auster, Khaled Hosseini, Karen Blixen, Nick Hornby, Jakob Ejersbo, Isabel Allende, John Irving, George Orwell, Haruki Murakami and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Touring with Danish Broadcastings Youth Ensemble - they tought me a lot about music, proffesionalism, the geography of Denmark, and most of all life. Also studying at the Academy of Music - I really learned who I was, what I wanted to do, how to get there and also how amazing people and music can be.
