I'm a Master's student at Lund University and my focus is on critical international relations. I lived in Cape Town, South Africa for 3 months this summer working with refugees from all over Sub-Saharan Africa. I've spent most of my life in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada but I was born in China and lived there for 10 years.

I'm passionate about identity politics, food (how it's produced, how to cook it, how to ferment it), social justice, and living the examined life. I also love podcasts. I'm starting to get involved with student journalism in Lund and I can't wait to learn more.

I'm endlessly keen, curious, and quite honestly, a bit of a workaholic. I would love to meet and host travelers who are equally keen and curious!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had some really great experiences both hosting and surfing in the past. I've hosted several people from Europe before. I've surfed in both Europe and the US. I've always enjoyed meeting people through CouchSurfing and learning about how locals see their homes.
