ABOUT ME

Diana lives life as an endless adventure. She is a veteran engineer specializing in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Currently in the marine industry in the south Florida area. In her youth she has traveled to over nine countries and has lived happily in three. She misses the life of when she was in the jungles of Chiapas and often wonders why the world has to be so selfish and full of greed. Ambitions to find a tropical climate on the beach and start a sustainable living community no matter where it is on the equator.

I'm getting into the forums and enjoy reading other travelers notes. Also go to couch surfing events when in my area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't found anyone to host me so far... Good thing for hostels and craigslist. I've been to a few couch surfing gatherings and met a plethora of great people.

TV shows:
I am super big fan Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern on the travel channel, I would kill to have his job. Man vs. Food and Anthony Bourdane is also pretty good. Also enjoy the History and Science Channel.

TV Series: House, Burn Notice, Stargate SG1/SGU, Fringe, White Collar, Heroes, Battle Star Galactica (the new series, NOT the old one), Caprica, LOST, and Two and a Half Men.

Books:
A Peoples History of the United States - Howard Zinn, Terry Brooks (fantasy), David Keirsey, Anthony Robins (self-help), Stephen King (Horror), John Grisham books, Ernest Holmes (Metaphysics) and contemporary romance novels.
