About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to experience everything!...well almost everything, there's probably a few things I have or haven't thought of that I wouldn't want to experience.

ABOUT ME

I'm really into music and drawing, with an ambition to hopefully be an animator one day. Into anything arty and creative really. I also absolutely love to travel. Love meeting new people and being introduced to their different ways of life and philosophies, and so on.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have a proper philosophy other than doing and achieving as much as possible and enjoying everything I do...or find the positives in a situation.
Oh, and definitely laughing at yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is all new for me so hopefully from my experiences I can give valuable feedback and help other people out when they're traveling around my stomping ground.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been traveling round Europe with my best friend Abi since June, and we've been doing alot of couch surfing, ALL of which has been fanTAStic and made me really enthusiastic about hosting people in my home...when I eventually face reality and go back and actually find a home that is.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much any genre of music other than country...mostly Indie/Electro, Rock, etc.
Books: Life of Pi, Everything is Illuminated, Shantaram, Tolkien and anything Roald Dahl, amongst millions of others. I like things that can be serious but touch on the ridiculous, if not being completely ridiculous concepts.
As for movies, I don't watch a large amount of movies and TV, and I can't be specific cos it depends what mood I'm in. But if it's got a good story line and has been made well then I'm in. Also weird foreign films and animes are good. Don't like horror though.
That's a really long-winded yet not particularly helpful summary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing would be going to Thailand last year to work in an animal rescue and rehabilitation centre. It was absolutely incredible, getting close to such amazing animals, watching them improve and get to know you and respond to you, and despite working my butt off, I felt like I really was helping out in a big way. That's not to mention all the people I met who I've still kept in contact with and am in the process of meeting up with again!
