Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Roam around the world, try everything edible, try all the beers
ABOUT ME
I like to spend my time talking with people and doing things that are worth re-telling later. I'm the kind of person who watches a TV series from beginning to end. I love beer, make my own beer, and spend a substantial amount of time visiting places that make beer. I love living in places: learning languages, experiencing cultures, and trying new things on the ground level, deeper than common tourist
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live by an Epicurean philosophy. Live life to the fullest without going overboard or regretting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love sharing the cultures I know best. My mother is from Paraguay, so I've grown up with Latin hospitality. I've also learned quite a bit about South American cuisine along the way. In high school, I studied as an exchange student in Germany for 7 months. It was there that I learnt the importance of a good beer with every meal. In University, I studied in Vienna where I learnt to make a mean Schnitzel. After University, I taught English in Poland where I learnt to appreciate vodka with my pierogies and flaki. I'm currently serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer to the Republic of Macedonia where I've lived the past two years fully immersed in an experience that I have yet to be able to sum up.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'd been a member of Couch Surfing for a while now but hadn't really participated until I met up with a CouchSurfer named Edmond while hiking in the Polish Tatra. Since then I've hosted about 10 different groups who've visited the Seattle area. I'm looking forward to doing my own share of CouchSurfing in the years ahead, especially as a part of my Peace Corps experience.
Interests
I'm into all sorts of things. Books, movies, and skiing in Winter. Hiking, Biking, and jogging in the Spring and Fall. Tennis, Swimming, and Grilling in the Summer.

Drinking unfiltered, unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell beer at the Brewery from the keg in which it was brewed
