About Me

Lifetime mission: Explore

ABOUT ME

I am a researcher. That's how I can easily define myself. Thanks to this profession, I was able to travel a lot during the last years. I learned a lot and saw a lot! For example, Mexico (Cancun, playa del carmen, tulum) and Colombia (Bogota and Cartagena) were absolutely amazing places that I have seen. I also mingled with local people and felt a part of it. So I can say that I am more a 'world citizen' than only my own nationality.

I love cooking, so my favorite is to prepare breakfast or dinners together with my guests. Turkish cuisine is difficult to prepare but I ask my mom the best recipes to try sometimes.

I am a respectful and tidy person, usually the flat is cleaner than an average boys flat :)

PHILOSOPHY

Being an organized person who also knows how to lose control:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As many people did: by surfing first :) Then I realized how magical this community is so I give back by hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has been great so far. I guess after sometime, you develop a sense of how to send/take the requests and meet people. I never accept a couch request like 'hey dude, I am broke and just arrived your city, can I crush into your couch.' CS is definitely not about having free accommodation. It's about exchange.

Interests

Travelling (have been to various countries abroad), reading, learning, swimming, classical guitar and team sports.
