About Me

ABOUT ME

It is difficult to describe oneself objectively, so better look at my references.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem on condition that my activity is not harmful to anyone else (it sounds like slogan but well at least I tried).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few couches so far, including Malaga, London and Thessaloniki, my hosts were great so I stay in touch with CS. I work in Warsaw but I grew up and studied in south of Poland. As I left many friends there I find CS as good place to meet interesting people here in Warsaw. I hosted some people when I lived alone, now I live with my girlfriend and sometimes we both have CouchSurfers staying on our couch.

Interests

Bike, bike, bike ... meeting new people and exploring new places. Watching football and reading about it. Climbing, mountains, IT, politics, history, economy, finance and banking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shawshank Redemption ,12 Angry Men, City of God, Dog Day Afternoon
TV shows: Monty Python's Flying Circus, Allo Allo, Twin Peaks
Music: too much writing
Books: too much writing and thinking, but recently I have enjoyed King Rat and The World According to Garp

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably when I first time trusted strangers enough to be a host. Nothing extraordinary in here, but yes! Without stopping to think this is amazing. That is why I like CS. :-D

I also cycled (long distance) in a few amazing places, like Japan (from Osaka to Tokio) and Kirghistan (Bishkek to/in some high mountains and back)

Teach, Learn, Share

hmm... You can say that I am a kind of computer geek (not much odd variety;-) so perhaps I can help you with your PC for instance

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you some tips about organising and participating in cycling trips

Countries I’ve Visited

Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom
