www.itstartedinafrica.com is my latest direction in life. After many years of on Couchsurfing, learning about cultures and seeing the injustices in our world, I was fortunate to find myself starting a local tour company to help travelers who are coming in my country (Tanzania) with no idea on how to do safaris. Now I work hard to make sure all travelers visiting my country have Equal opportunity as locals by travelling and treating human beings with respect.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend who is a couchsurfer invited me to one of the CS meetings in Dar es Salaam. I had such a good time and met so many different people around the world hence giving me an idea how to make the world a better place through CS. I host most of the time and also surf in Tanzania sometimes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet been anywhere outside of my country Tanzania. But I’ve learnt so many different things from other travellers around the world after meeting them through CS, it is a real experience.

It was something surprised me to see people living together with wild animals in Ngorongoro National Park.

I teach mathematics and physics.

I learn from other travellers to expand my horizon.

I share my knowledge and ideas to other travellers and also share my beautiful country to them, I’m ready to show all parts of my country to you: Serengeti; Ngorongoro; Mikumi; Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro; Mount Meru and Zanzi Bar, etc. I’m able to organize tour for you to anywhere that you are interested in this country on a small budget.

And also I will share with you how our projects can make this town and this world a better place.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

I look upon a couchsurfer coming to stay with me as an event. I offer food, refreshment and entertainment with good conversation. I love telling stories and hearing yours. I do have laundry facilities for guest like long safari tourers but please ask before using them. If you would like to cook please just ask as I have a very well equipped kitchen.
