About Me

CURRENT MISSION

mission? so corporate. Enjoy life and don't hurt others

ABOUT ME

To make a living I write, teach and lecture about water issues. All things considered, it's a great gig: i get to talk to interesting people, travel to amazing places and create a product I can be proud of.

In my spare time I hike and bike (summer) and hibernate (winter), i.e. read, write, cook, bake, watch movies. My housemates tell me I should open a doughnut cart and bring delicious apple cider doughnuts to all of Seattle, but I think that might spoil the joy of making a dozen for friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Sir Gawain said it: "Whether fate be foul or fair/why falter I or fear?/What can man do but dare?"
