ABOUT ME

I’m a 25 year old Computer Science student at the Delft University of Technology and internet entrepreneur. My company bwb labs is specialised in web application security and new creative internet application ideas.

In student life I’m an active member of the student / people society Wolbodo since January 2009 and (currently inactive) member of student society / fraternity de Bolk since September 2003, both without any form of hazing!

The food I eat is vegan (strict vegetarian), and I regularly cook my own dinner, although when possible I eat at Wolbodo, VegDelft - a group of (international) vegetarian and vegan students (mainly on Fridays) or other places with vegan food.

I have strong opinions in politics and religions, I’m a convinced atheist. I do not have a TV but I follow the news and current affair programs through internet on a daily base.

For the rest I think I am:
open-minded with a firm view, assertive, little subtlety and somewhat sarcastic, practical and an idealist.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is just a giant anthill, totally out of control. We now have ants communication with fiberglass cables and living in a virtual world.

Although I believe there is nothing, no God or any other higher power, I still think it is worth living and you should live your life right. For me that is not taking the life of other (high) life forms like animals, because what gives me the right to do this if I have the choice*? That’s the reason for me to go vegan.

* I doubt how many choices we have, I’m a believer in Determinism, although a bit contradictory: you should not think about this too often, it shouldn’t control your life ;)

Surf & Host: I would love to find nice people & places. By showing people around, talk / drink / eat and maybe crash at my couch.

I like to see good (mostly smaller production) movies in a local film theatre. I’m a music addict and go often to concerts, see for more information. I only made the time to read study books for the last 7 years..

Teach: I know a lot about internet technology and the ‘latest’ trends, also in the security area of web applications. I’ve a brought interest in Dutch politics. There might be other things I can teach you, but I’m unaware of those right now :)
Learn: Eager to learn new things, if it’s not too dangerous or require exceptional human properties ;).
Share: Thoughts about life and the world.
