About Me
Hey, world!
Nice to meet you. My name is Will and I am a PhD student, living in Chicago for the past three years, pursuing my dream of teaching at a university. I'm a highly active, tall and skinny guy who spends his time interviewing people about their lives (for work) and biking and yoga-ing around Chicago (for fun).
My favorite city on earth (so far!) is Istanbul, where I lived for a year after college. I lived three years total in Turkey. I can teach you some Turkish, if you'd like!
I'm up for last-minute travel plans and traveling far to find the best food and music. You teach me something and I'll return the favor!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS is an incredible way to meet people who care about humanity. I have shared meals with hosts, met their families, taken road trips, and played music together with them and their friends. Every time I meet or host a Couchsurfer, I get the warm feeling that people are genuinely good (and fun). Look forward to meeting you!
