About Me
After working for years in the research department at a University back in Upstate, New York, I decided to take a sabbatical to travel. The short trip stretched across years, and more than 3 years later I'm still living a life in motion. I currently work for an educational organization, and sometimes find myself in several different continents in the span of a week or two.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When you Couchsurf, you get to see meet people from all over the world and see how they are living within their own habitats. Hostels can be fun, but when you stay with someone in their home, you can see a place through their eyes, which makes for a much richer experience.
More than places to stay, Couchsurfing is about a cultural exchange.
Interests
Somewhere between new people, places, and cultures I find a lot of inspiration.
- traveling
- socializing
Music, Movies, and Books
Wandering by Hermann Hesse - notes and sketches from his journey to Ticino
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finding a bicycle at the bottom of the river in Copenhagen, taking it apart, putting it back together, then riding it to the South of Italy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I collect stories from people I meet as I travel and am always happy to trade some along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I always carry a sketchbook on me documenting my travels and full of stories.
