About Me

CURRENT MISSION

LOVE, completely and fully live from the heart.....

ABOUT ME

Mmmm... I'm quite into spiritual stuff, originally from Australia but I've been living in a yoga ashram in Copenhagen for the last few years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2008, Eliza, Tom and I hosted almost non-stop all year at our wonderful share house in the inner west of Sydney. We were constantly in the midst of multiple hellos and goodbyes... it was a very surreal experience. I was working a lot at the time, so I really enjoyed being inspired by all the marvelous tales of adventure.
We met so many beautiful people, took lots of new friends on camping trips and adventures, rediscovered our own city many times over, shared countless cups of tea and exchanged many ridiculous stories.
Now that I'm traveling myself, I look forward to more of the same!
After hosting so much, I (should!) know how to be "the model couchsurfer"...

Interests

ADVENTURES, awareness, NATURE, art and creativity in all its many forms. COMMUNITY, co-operatives, communal living. Rainbow Gatherings. Gathering rainbows. Wandering (both aimlessly and aimfully), being excited inappropriately, infinite possibilities, intuition, limitlessness, enraptured listening, INTERACTION and exchange of all kinds, music that makes you feel like you can fly. Toasting my toes by a campfire in the Australian bush under a blanket of stars. Beaches, farms, forests, bush, deserts, valleys, MOUNTAINS! Storytelling and writing. Unexpected but well-timed cacaphonies. YOGA. Asanas, bandhas, mudras. Comfortable silence. Climbing trees, growing vegetables, vegetarianism, permaculture, ENVIRONMENT & sustainability. Flea markets, Rainbow Gatherings, festivals! Laughing until my jaw hurts. Dreaming, MEDITATION, mindfulness. Being homely and domestic, mothering my friends, rhythmic monotony, organising things. The idea and feeling of being at HOME wherever I go. PHOTOGRAPHY and film making, design, colours. TRAVELING, travelers, tribes, tramps, hobos, vagabonds! Cooking, camping, hiking, skipping, jumping, TEA. Letters, parcels, postcards! Hot chocolate, hot soup, fresh juice, good books. Listening to rain falling on a tin roof when I'm all warm and cosy in bed. CONVERSATION, intensity, sharing. Challenges. Exploration. Eccentricities. Extremities. Indian food. Creating my reality just the way I like it. Remembering that I'm in control of this ship! The infinite beauty inherent in all things. Freedom, truth, LOVE, hysterics! Open space. Miscellany. Hodge Podge. Worthless ephemera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've just returned from a month trekking in the Himalayas... that was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:
How to travel without a guidebook (leave EVERYTHING up to chance and have some random adventures, potentially winding up somewhere you didn't intend on going to...OR borrow someone's guidebook frequently!)... how to make paper snowflakes.... How to impress people with your awesome French or Japanese language skills... Japanese Kanji writing... Permaculture principles, outdoor survival techniques (!?) How to live more simply and love it...

Learn: ANYTHING you want to teach me!

Countries I’ve Visited
