About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discuss philosophy, to create stories to tell and to dance everywhere.

ABOUT ME

I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
I am a digital nomad based in Berlin
I love watching films; I've seen a ton.
I love meeting new people.
I love storytelling, discussing the human experience, dreams, music, the mind, mythology and everything else that is awesome in life.

PHILOSOPHY

Good humour and understanding is the salve of all societal ills.
People should be free to do whatever pleases them without judgment, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting travelers, and I travel a lot by myself, so it's always fun to have some travel friends in a new city :)

Interests

Writing songs and having drunken group singalongs.
Discovering non-touristy experiences in new cities.
Writing down dreams and discussing them.
Watching intense films with people and then talking about them all night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A while back, after a night on the town, I stumbled upon a Hindu temple near my hostel at around 1am. There was a ceremony on and I got to watch hundreds of people, clothed in orange, crowding the altars and carrying these metal urns on their heads around the temple. An extremely nice lady explained that this was a ceremony honouring the Great Goddess who is tempted to give up her chastity but crushes the bones of her tempters and is victorious. She told me that they worship at the temple till 10am the following morning, after which the men show their penance by walking on burning hot coals. The experience was totally surreal.
