Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
live my life lightly on this earth
ABOUT ME
I have a curious mind and am always looking to learn by experience, whether that be via formal education, travel or work. Currently finishing up a Massage Therapy program here in Halifax and will be heading to Peru this summer for a few weeks. I've taken a massive break from couchsurfing.org as I was consumed by my education for the past 2 years and I apologize for those I haven't gotten to reply to during my hiatus. I have to admit I've reached a point where I'm fairly responsible and am looking to a more relaxed and travel filled life post college.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've done some surfing in New Zealand and Australia (with some great and not so great experiences!). Currently cannot host anyone now that I'm back home due to the roommate's lack of interest but definitely up for meeting new people and showing them around this little island I grew up on. So if you're up for a drink or an adventure it's on.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing allowed me to meet some amazing individuals who have shown me corners of their part of the world otherwise unseen by the average tourist. Good experiences all around with the exception of some seedy hosts in Queenstown, NZ.

Music, Movies, and Books
I spent a long time filling this section in and then it didn't save correctly and erased everything... I'll fill it in at a later date.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My friend Mary-Anne and I were travelling New Zealand and found ourselves camping on a beach in the Bay of Islands with no where to go the next day. We decided to hitchhike and got picked up by an older gentleman who when asked us where we are heading we replied "where ever you're going". He found out we were WWOOFers and said he had a friend who could host us outside of KeriKeri. Turns out his friend was a caretaker of a private peninsula owned by some fat cat in Auckland and we spent the week in a paradise. We had our own boathouse to sleep in, private beaches, and instead of working our WWOOF host took us out on a $350,000 yacht everyday.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have some knowledge to share regarding social theory, massage therapy, anatomy and farming.
I would love to learn about leatherwork and how to drive a motorbike
