About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have as much fun that I missed for past 4 years of schooling as possible.

ABOUT ME

Hey, I am completely harmless :) so meet me and see for yourself.

PHILOSOPHY

'Cat people' are cooler than 'dog people', but they secretly need the love from 'dog people'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back in college, a friend of mine hosted a couchsurfer, who later transferred to my school. I first learned about couchsurfing through her.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couchsurfed for the first time in Taiwan in Fall 2013

I have traveled a lot, and often stayed at friends' places.

Interests

Local music scene and exposure to different types of jazz outside of North America,

measuring the correlation between the state's economic prowess and its relative voice in the international community,

the role and implications of so-called Third Culture Kids in the perspectives of civic society and globalization

why the heck America is not officialy bankrupt yet,

the positive effects of alcohol to multilingual capacity,

comparing douchebaggeries in diverse cultural contexts,

the line between hot bromance and male homosexuality(other than having sex),

what on EARTH is wrong with Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy Umberto Eco, Herman Hesse, and Orhan Pamuk's writings.
a LOTR geek, also a big time Japanese anime consumer.
open to all kinds of good music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a tropical thunderstorm over the horizon slowly hovering toward the Costa Rican shores was pretty majestic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to play piano and basic harmonics. I would love to have jam sessions with other talented musicians all around the world; if you play jazz, that's a plus.

Picking up a new language is always fun. I have experiences in teaching Korean for 2 years.
