Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have spent the last five years traveling and living out of a backpack. I have surfed numerous times, but am settling down and looking forward to hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly I have stayed with friends that have offered me a place to stay. I know want to get out a little bit more, places that aren't the norm for me, experience people and make new friendships.

I recently made a trek across the US staying with 4 different people. It is interesting to meet such different people.

Interests

I like to travel, try new cultures traditions, food and languages. I am an avis snowboarded and ultimate player. As a fisheries biologist, I am very interested in aquatic systems, however, I do like to hike and camp in wooded terrain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked on commercial fishing vessels in the Bering Sea and have experience the raw power of the ocean unlike most people in the world.
