About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I don't understand the question and I won't respond to it.
ABOUT ME
I like people, travel, reading, and movies. Good food is also a highlight of my life. I finished university in the States in May 2008, saved money for seven months, and then for six months backpacked my way through Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, India, and Turkey, before stopping in Syria to continue studying Arabic. I got a job as an English teacher and stayed in Damascus for a year.
After that, I traveled again for a few months, trying to have some fun before I got back home and had to find a job again. Now I'm working in Washington, DC and trying to stay sane while the travel bug keeps itching away at me.
PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting and surfing, though I can't host at the moment due to roommate issues.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I like CS because through it I can experience a place completely differently than I would in a hostel. There's nothing like exploring a new city with a local or even a resident expat.
Interests
Hiking, camping, exploring new places, wandering aimlessly through new countries, learning bits of other languages, learning about history, making fun of fat old tourists, etc.
