br />I'm-friendly, open-minded and easy-going -communicative and like to make new experiences-reliable, organised and humorous, I smile a lot-good listener, well-meaning, honest, clear and sometimes direct-very curious and quite ambitious in my studiesI'm a student of English, History and Pedagogy, now doing my master's degree. I'm going to become a teacher for young people (age 11-18).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people in my area: Unfortunately, I cannot host myself, but I'm interested in meeting people who travel my area. I'd be happy to show you around, do some sightseeing with you in the Ruhr area or e.g. in Cologne, or just have a cup of tea or coffee together and talk!Participating in activities: I'm absolutely interested in joining activities of CS members in my area. :)Surfing/Travelling/Meeting people: ---WALES 2012 ---:)I'll be going to Wales in April 2012 for a 3-months-stay and I would really like to meet CS members in Wales who are interested in showing me around and maybe teaching me some Cymraeg, if they like.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm absolutely new and joined CouchSurfing because I heard about the great experiences of a friend of mine. So far, I have no personal experiences.

Interests

In my free time, I like…spending time with friends and family…playing with my family's dog ...reading books...listening to music
…playing Indiaca…yoga…pilates...snorkeling (when I have the opportunity)

...learning about languages, history and different cultures...watching documentaries...watching action movies, funny movies and children's movies (from Japan)I also like - especially during travelling -

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, there's more than one thing I found amazing and will never forget. For example:-flying over the lava landscape and volcanoes on Big Island, Hawai'i-seeing the landscape of the Algarve's West coast in Portugal-watching baby seals in the sand just a few steps away from me -hiking on the island of Capri, near Naples in Italy and seeing ancient ruins in Pompei-snorkeling in Hana'uma Bay, Hawai'i-when I was a child, my brothers and me found a fawn in our garden-how much fun it is to play Indiaca!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always interested in learning and talking about...every kind of human life experience: I'm a very good and empathic listener and often can give helpful advise. Also, I'm interested in other people's perspectives....teaching, learning, study skills: I'm an excellent student in my fields of study and I've been working as a student tutor and research assistant and have teaching experience. I'm willing to share my knowledge and experience with everyone who is interested :)...languages: I'm good at German, English and Latin and I'd like to learn Cymraeg which I've just started teaching myself at the end of November 2011....animals: I love animals. :)
