ABOUT ME

I love to travel around the world. Grab my backpack and go. The longer the better.
I´m an open-minded, curious man that hopes to get to know a country, its´people and their culture. As well I´m an outgoing person and sometimes I love being ironic.
So at all I love to meet people and hang out with them, because the best experiences I had was with the people I met on my trips :-)

PHILOSOPHY

There is no black or white, light or dark. People are mostly grey wit a lot of sprinkles of both.
I´m fine with it and will accept you the way your are! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people from all over the world and couchsurfing brings a great opportunity for that.
So if you are up to hang out, have a good time and share some experiences together - I´m up for it. :-)

Interests

I´m way to lazy to make it more specific. But sociallizing with people and hanging out with friends pretty much sums it up. Everything else that´s listed comes along with that. Also I like to talk about expiriences and have conversations about various topics. I´m a curious person. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of rock music, love to watch films and series and enjoy to read a lot of books.
There is too much to mention just a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Saw the sunrise above the clouds in the nepali Himalayas and had a view on 4 x 8000m mountain peaks.
- spent three nights with arab nomads in the desert
- dicovered the abandoned ruins of a former comunist memorial (aka UFO) in Bulgaria
- Getting saved by a Couchsurfer in Israel after I got quite sick
- nearly beeing abducted by turkish mafia on the armenian border
- Drove an old Chevrolet Spark on a dirt road, over abondened bridges and trough partly dangerous rivers in Colombia
- I rode a high lion statue in Madrid screaming: "Forward to Narnia, Azlan!" - Does that count?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit German if you want :-)
Traditional german food comes with that (veg an non-veg).

I can show you my city and the surrounding area which is full of castles, beautiful rivers, wineries, historical villages and lakes. Whatever you want :-)

Or we just drink a cold beverage in the sun on my terrace :-D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I´m flexible and adaptable - so quite easy to host. I can cook for you (tradtitonal german food or something else) and we can exchange some travel stories or just have a good time together talking. :-)
And of course I can teach you some german. ;-)
