About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the jump from student to professional without forgetting the more important things.
ABOUT ME
Well, like everyone else, it's a long story. But currently, I'm finishing up my last semester at Burlington College and excited to embark on a new phase in life. I found a wonderful place in Shelburne to do my woodworking and will be starting before the new year. It'll be great to be back in the Burlington area--I just need to find a place to stay.
I'm looking host who would be willing to house me for an extended stay in exchange for furniture. I suppose it's a non-conventional idea, but I'm keen on the concept of barter. Yes, lodging for custom hardwood furniture.
Okay, I suppose I've drifted from who I am to what I'm doing, but hopefully we'll have plenty of time to learn about each other sometime soon.
PHILOSOPHY
This one's borrowed: "...better the errors of affection than the accuracy of apathy..." -John Ruskin
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend introduced me to the couch surfing community, and at this point I'm using it to travel through the United States. I've met genuinely caring friends and I'm looking forward to returning the hospitality to the travelers in the hometown I love.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed only once so far, and I've probably been spoiled by the experience. My friend and I were treated so well and we all had a fun time. There are so many good people in this world--I was privileged to meet 3 at my stay. Planning to meet more soon.
>>More surfing on the way back home. More wonderful people.
Interests
Woodworking and furniture are my main interest. Along with that creative field I do enjoy pencil sketching and painting with acrylic. When I'm outside I like to hike, well, walking in general is just great. I love road cycling. I've probably traveled less than most couchsurfers but this last road trip has revived the explorer in me. I'm interested in seeing more of the United States.

Music, Movies, and Books
Can I say all music? So much is great.
I love movies in general, especially going to the theater.
I prefer non-fiction books. My "good book" is the dictionary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode my bicycle until my quadriceps shuddered and seized; two hours later I saw the finish line.
Teach, Learn, Share
