About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore. Learn. Be Warm. Eat.

ABOUT ME

PLEASE NOTE THAT MY LANDLORD DOES NOT LET ME HOST MEN OVERNIGHT BUT I CAN HOST WOMEN AND AM INTERESTED IN MEETING UP AND SHOWING PEOPLE AROUND

I am a 25 year old Palestinian living in diaspora. Just moved to Jordan from Oakland where I was working with new immigrant women from all over the Arab world as an ESL teacher, interpreter and case manager in San Francisco. Before leaving the California I was active in Palestine and food justice organizing. I love traveling, meeting people who are passionate about what they do and sharing a good meal! This year I am going to focus on perfecting my debka!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling for now but would like to host people and do some meet ups with people looking for a friendly face whilst traveling once I settle in to my new home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My house in Oakland has hosted some awesome people and I decided to start up my profile so I can host people and hopefully utilize couch surfing when I travel. I am a big fan of informal networks and helping people save $$. I have always had the most fun when someone from the place I am visiting gives me the scoop so I would love to pay it forward!
