Overview
About Me
I'm interested in a wide variety of topics, in learning and sharing. Studied information design. Founded a web startup company & a non-profit project to improve online journalism. Stood for national elections. Now work for a Member of the European Parliament. Spend a significant chunk of my day online. A bit introverted and not that big on small talk. Queer. Couldn't live without music and live concerts. Low-maintainance, non-smoker, cat lover.
PHILOSOPHY
Get in over your head and embrace challenges: The world belongs to those who try, even when they fail. Life is not a zero-sum game, we can all win. Empathy is as critical a skill as intelligence. Hug more. Technology can be an incredibly powerful force for good, but is in danger of being used against us. Secular humanist. I'm a flawed human being but working on it. Every statement is an unjustified simplification. I might be wrong about everything I currently believe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Throwing a small festival for >100 people with international musicians, speakers and artists.
- Seeing over 50,000 people enjoy a product I've built. Getting to live in London and San Francisco with my startup company.
- Seeing my favorite artist performing open air and unplugged in the courtyard of an antique basilica in Italy.
- Riding a bike, downhill, at night, in the rain, with headphones on and the music turned way up.
- Dancing with someone I was in love with.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know all kinds of nerdy web stuff and can design things. I can also procrastinate like nobody's business!
What I really need to learn: Cooking. Playing some instruments.
Let's make some kind of art, maybe?
