About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Give more people and places the opportunity to enjoy my awesomeness!

ABOUT ME

Not what or where, but who... I have a fever and the only prescription is more CS. I want to meet cool interesting people with stories that put mine to shame. Think you got one? Bring it on!

My sister and I just bought a really cool house in LA. It was actually a total piece when we got it, but one year later... Viaola. It is beautiful and amazing, and it has a couch. We have good public transpo access to downtown and Hollywood. My work schedule is pretty unpredictable, but if I can afford the time, I'm always happy to adventure.

I have a million places I want to go and things I want to do. The trick is finding someone to do it with. I want to start traveling and adventuring, but its kinda impossible to find anyone with a schedule that will align with mine... Until now! (Did you hare the music crescendo there? Pretty exciting, huh?).

I'm kinda new to CS, and don't really know what to expect. That said, I expect a lot. I like to go out and party sometimes. I also like to stay in, take it easy and enjoy intelligent conversation:) In case you didn't notice I think smiley faces should be sentence ending punctuation, like a period or a question mark.

PHILOSOPHY

Listen more than you talk, unless the other person doesn't have anything good to say. If that is the case then use your intelligence to make fun of them without them knowing.
Who cares what you are doing, if you are with the right people, anything can be fun. Except for watching a Ben Afleck film. That will never be fun. I'm just kidding. He did a pretty good job on 'The Town'.
Give more than you take. You won't have as much stuff on your hands to worry about.
Keep expectations low, hopes high and always expect the unexpected. Especially if it involves street performers, a cardboard sign, and an angry musician's hat. I think the secret ingredient is always an angry musician's hat.
Plan, plan, plan. That way when you throw the plan away, you have an appreciation for how much cooler reality can turn out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like the idea of helping people out with a place to stay. I've been very lucky with my home and job, so I'm all for sharing in the fortune. That said, if you want to crash here, you still are going to have to be a cool person. If you are unsure about how cool you are, I can be bribed with a good home-cooked meal or an incredibly unusual and entertaining story.

I'm excited to meet new and different people. Whether we just meet for coffee or a beer, use each other for sleeping accommodations, or just roam a strange city in search of a random bar fight... The way I see it is that if you have read this far in my profile, you probably owe it to yourself to try and be my friend.

Come, stay on my couch. No guarantees that I will be able to or even want to hang out with you, but why not give yourself a shot.

Traveling: I just want to experience parts of cities I otherwise would not get to see. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I like to experience the more intimate and personal side of the places I visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sister, Carly, I had the chance to stay with a host in Berlin and another in Amsterdam. They were both amazing, and we have since had the chance to repay the favor at my house in LA. That is what it is all about, making new friends, and giving each other a chance to see a side of the city that is otherwise unavailable.

Interests

Anything new, different or the same. Partying is fun. Not partying is fun. I like to have intelligent and relaxed conversations (just don't let your feelings get hurt if I say you are boring. It doesn't mean I don't want to be your friend, I just want to do something else. Like not talk anymore).

I'm very active, I'm a professional stuntman for crying out loud. I love sports, I enjoy movies, music, nature, the beach, the mountains, skiing, soccer/futbol, american football, baseball, hiking, camping, etc. I'll try everything once, and if I hate it... Well, I will still be your friend.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes! Movie's are my job and my passion. I could absolutely talk about it for days. Instead of spilling the beans, I challenge you to ask me a question. Other than "How do I get into stunts?" If you use this website to try and open a business networking opportunity for yourself, I will trick you into waiting for me in a dark alley and pay a really hot transvestite prostitute to show you how to get into stunts the wrong way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only a privileged few gain access to this information, and you must first ask the right questions.

Teach, Learn, Share

My favorite game during school was to try and get the teacher on a tangent during lecture. When done properly they will talk about their past, or something else they are passionate about for the rest of the class time. My personal record was over 40 minutes... I agree, I completely owned this question:)
