About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
honest connections with people- to share and receive perspective on this crazy life, to laugh and open myself up to the many possibilities of living and being, to spread compassion and understanding.
Interests
outdoors anything- currently learning whitewater kayaking, avid rock climber, cliff jumping and swimming
biology- ecology and environmental science, geology, animals and plants
deeply inspired by art, visiting museums, learning art history, maybe making a sketch or two. Art is the height of human achievement and dedication. from impressionism to abstract expressionism, i'm quite captivated
reading and understanding the art of writing, reading with intention and mindfulness of the style and mastery of an author, books for me are an opportunity for personal growth, understanding of the world, and the most significant intellectual undertaking in the digital age.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am an open-book waiting to be filled in. Nothing gives me more pleasure that learning from other people. I very much like to observe, soaking up information through experience.
I try to teach humbly, and acknowledging that I may well know very little of the subject, but sharing my opinions and perspectives.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Smiles and gratitude, judgment-free vibes, open ears and an open mind. And hopefully some tasty snacks, "both sweet and savory both so don't worry"
