Currently working for Iowa State University at a faculty member in the Art and Visual Cultures Department teaching photography. Also I am the Arts, Communication and Design Program Specialist for ISU Extension and Outreach 4-H Youth Program, goal is to create and help students across Iowa experience arts and design.

Make memories with the people who call places I visit home. I tend to vividly remember the people in a place more than a place without people. That said visiting places of natural beauty with scale beyond that of humans is essential for balancing my perspective. Explore, Experience, Learn

ABOUT ME

I am always interested in learning new things and meeting new people. I have a very strong passion and desire to travel and experience all parts of the world. I absolutely love the natural world and have a passion for exploration and photography of that world. Trained as an architect I love seeing cities and observing how different cultures shape the built environment. I like real experiences and dislike places with excessive tourists. I am always up for trying something new and want to learn as much as I can!

I have spent 23 of my 30 birthdays traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have spent a good many years of my life traveling and the best memories are when I have met up with locals and learned some of the secrets of the places I have been. Those are the real memories that you take with you for the rest of your life.

Grow from each other. Everyone knows something unique and different. Even just meeting for a few hours, the exchange of conversation in various languages, or the chance to help one another out teaches us small things we never knew before. I am quite interested and knowledgeable about photography, also travel and outdoor recreation in the United States that I can tell you all about it. I have traveled to all 50 United States. I also like to cook and learn how to cook meals from different countries and of course I am very good at doing dishes! Teach one another, learn from one another, and share a memorable experience.
