CURRENT MISSION

I would like to help people, making their stay easy in my area, and of course travel and meet new friends from diferent culture.

ABOUT ME

I moved to Costa Rica 10 years ago with my husband and my two children. We like to travel a lot, although we have never used the couchsurfing for the 4 of us yet.

In Costa Rica, I made my home and just love it. I am a founding and active member of the non-profit asociacion CEPIA (www.cepiacostarica.org) which help the disadvantaged children and teen-agers in our community.

I am also a member of the Board of Directors of La Paz Community School (www.lapazschool.org), a non profit association which mission is to educate the culturally diverse youth of Guanacaste.

I am a very positive, joyful and loving person and a good friend.

Interests

Sports like aerial silk acrobatics, yoga, jogging, tennis, rollerskating, bycicling... I love salsa dancing, painting, video and photo making, singing (in my shower), travelling, tchating and surfing on internet, writing and most of all reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book: Les piliers de la terre, Ken Follett, all the Amelie Nothomb, any Benoite Groult, the crazy Bernard Werber, the charming Alexandre Jardin but also good old classique Georges Sand for example. Right now I am reading L'Usage du Monde, by traveller Nicolas Bouvier, who has such a poetic way to discribe the world...

Music: almost everything: Soul, jazz, hip hop, house, R&B, classic music, french and english pop, even rap, and some good techno. Don't like hard rock.

Movies: I love any film with Johnny Deep, and like mostly the art et essai films

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The tikal mayan site in Guatemala. Absolutely breathtaking.
Three days in New York with three friends. I didn't sleep the whole time.
Snowboarding in the beautiful french Alps.
Travel all over Spain with a tent and a few friends. Rich experience.
Working in Germany for two monthes. Surprising.
Learning english in Wales, England, and enjoy their terrible accent and great hearts.
Visit and help an orphenage for one year and then be one of the founding member of a non-lucrative asociation in Costa Rica helping kids in needs.
The most amazing thing in my life is also to have given birth. Two times. It changed my life, my heart, and my vision of love.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french or massage techniques for example.
I would love to learn to play a music instrument, be a good photographer, dancer.
