Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want both to spread excitement and to live intelligently.
ABOUT ME
I am a twenty-year-old from the US. I am half Lithuanian. I hope to grow up to be a salad-eating, book-toting, traveling, bike-riding, tea-drinking, Oxford comma-adding, laughing, traveling, liberal editor/professor/some crazy academic lady, both happy and in love.
PHILOSOPHY
"No bloom of youth can ever blind / The cracks and wrinkles of your mind." - The late, great Jonathon Swift
"We ourselves shall be loved for a while and forgotten. But the love will have been enough; all those impulses of love return to the love that made them. Even memory is not necessary for love. There is a land of the living and a land of the dead and the bridge is love, the only survival, the only meaning." -Thornton Wilder's 'The Bridge of San Luis Rey'
"Technology frightens me to death. It's designed by engineers to impress other engineers, and they always come with instruction booklets that are written by engineers for other engineers - which is why almost no technology ever works." -John Cleese
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I am new to this site, so thus I have only surfed a few times, but when I am back in the states I will definitely put up my floor!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been doing my own type of 'couchsurfing' since I was born, as I have been in and out of foster care homes, adopted homes, homes of friends, etc. I have had quite an interesting life, which I think has made me a strong, worthwhile, caring, hard-working individual. Plus, I am a really easy guest: it's what I have been doing all my life!

Teach, Learn, Share
John Lennon's 'Real Love' was recorded as a demo, and, after he died, Yoko, in a surprisingly rational act of love, surrendered the tape to Paul, Ringo, and George, who then provided the rest of the music behind John's voice.
It is a beautiful song.
The best Faulkner novel to start with is: 'As I Lay Dying.' It's both quick and stunning... 'nuff said.
Talk to me: I have a lot of knowledge up my sleeves!
