I am originally from Cambridge, MA, USA. I have lived for long periods of time in Chile, Mexico, Spain, and Morocco.

Currently off to Vietnam to teach English and dive into the culture.

Free spirited, love to travel... sometimes get deeply into ideas and philosophy. Smile a lot, love people, love quiet. Like being active, running, or walking, or sitting and hearing life go by. Believe that life is cyclical, that we live in phases, we orbit into one adventure then experience the other side of things, always moving and growing, that the more energy you put out the more you get back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the mojave/sonoran desert in southern California - solitude, relaxation, blissful sun on endless expansive sand and rock
backpacking across South America - friends from all over the world, liters of beer on sidewalk cafes, riding a motorcyle on the streets of Chile
Mexico - teaching English and movement to children, discovering the darker side of love, dancing merengue and salsa, discovering las quesadillas mejores del mundo, mayan ruins, micheladas

What I Can Share with Hosts

Love to talk about pretty much anything. I am passionate about language and can share what I know of Spanish, French, and Moroccan Arabic.

I love to cook... and to eat! I enjoy cooking vegetarian meals. Mixing and matching vegetables and spices. Al dente veggie stir fry served over brown rice. A Moroccan omelette (tomato, onions, olives, lemon.)

I can share my enthusiasm for life by going on a walk. I know how to give people space when they need it.

I am honest and easy to communicate with.
