Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To rock it out, wherever I am.
ABOUT ME
I try to be as metropolitan as one with my resources can be. I grew up in a loving, but heterogeneous atmosphere, so I suppose once I had access to the world outside of my suburb I fell in love with it. Like many of you being a I wish to be a citizen of the world. I also like to think I am spontaneous, and am always up for new and random adventures...although my 9-5 office job would tell most folks otherwise.
PHILOSOPHY
Do all you can, where you are, with what you have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My roomate, Phillip Ferrier has been an active couchsurfer for years, so whenever we needed a place to stay, or someone wanted to stay with us, his profile would do the trick. With him out of town for the summer, I figured I should grow up and find my own CS identity.
A cool mix of people find themselves traveling through Flint, MI. It may not be a glamorous city, but it is an tough and interesting place... and we never are at a loss for fun. I have loved meeting dozens of people from around the world and sharing my slice of the Earth with them.
I've stayed with a few as well, and have never had a bad experience. This community is pretty sweet.
Interests
Urban planning and architecture. When I see a built place, my mind immediately dissects it and asks specific questions about how it works, how people can use it, and what effects it has on their lives. Architecture is thrilling, in that it has the power to shape how we live our lives. I have a deep appreciation for designers and planners who use that power to create spaces and places which allow for a common, beautiful place in which to have a life.
