I've spent six years in Las Vegas as a circus performer, American life has been like a weird dream, I'm also an artist and I started a Jewelry line recently, but my wish for this year is to see a bit more of America and Im trying to make that a reality. I enjoy photography and have become fascinated with bathrooms, especially retro and strange decor, I wanted to make an alternative travel blog, America via bathroom shoot and personal stories from the people who own the bathrooms. Almost a year ago I had a back injury that refused to heal and lead to myelitis, inflammation of my spinal cord, which means I have a long recovery ahead and performing is off the table, for now, I want to prove that being in a wheelchair doesn't mean your life is over, or you can't be fully independent and go do all the things you want to. Most houses are accessible, I weight 95lb and my wheelchair is small, I can wheelie up and down a step or two, I've been an aerialist so have no problem moving around or navigating obstacles. I also have a little french bulldog who's a registered service dog and travels with me where ever I go, she's super sweet, she gets excited by cats but has lived with them, she'd never harm one, she's good with dogs if they're good with her.

I've used airbnb a little bit since using a wheelchair and it's really frustrating, I get turned down a lot and told the house isn't accessible when I can see from the photo's it would be fine. I've had eight months of being really stuck and feel ready to expand, and I guess now I'm learning that being in a wheelchair means people turn you down a lot for no real reason apart from they don't understand that it's simple. I used to host on couch surfing years ago and I've had a really good experience with it so I thought I would give it a try and see how interesting I could make my life this year. I'm British, have traveled a lot in Europe, there's so many sides of America I didn't see yet.

I like indie films and Japanese horror, my favorite books are the northern lights trilogy but Phillip Pullman, I open on all kinds of music.

I've been a trapeze flyer for twelve years, so there's been many amazing things on the journey, I've performed in the two top selling shows on the Vegas strip, and before that all over Europe. I also make art and jewelry out of barbies, surreal dream scenes in doll houses, people tend to get super excited about my work.
