ABOUT ME

I'm searching for the right place to live. The right place includes some of the following: mountains, water, a long growing season, cheap land, historic houses in need of repair, good food, local beer, and a community of reasonable, focused and fun people doing exciting things.

I am: an urban-homesteader-dilettante, an ex-neuro-researcher and a pro-grocery-shopper.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host, now I travel. If you like to have people cook for you in your kitchen then I will cook for you in your kitchen. I'll ask you about grocery stores in biking distance, the best places to picnic and whether or not I should move to your town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've lived in a few big old houses with couches and surfers. I like cooking for visitors and hearing their stories.
