PHILOSOPHY

I am of the suspician that life might be one giant practical joke, but occasionally I take it seriously, just in case.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

A wide variety of music, primarily hip-hop, rap, jazz, soul, blues, funk and classic rock .

My favorite authors are Hunter S. Thompson, Edward Abbey and to a lesser degree Thomas Friedman (before he started to suck).

As far as movies go... the list is much too long, but damn Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a great movie... almost as good as the book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't possibly pick one experience, the list is much too long.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've traveled extensively around the US (as well as the World) so I can give solid travel advice on most of the country (especially big cities, the midwest and the west). I am also very used to dealing with cultural barriers.

Aside from the above: I know quite a bit about computers and bikes as well as a little about martial arts, cars and electronics. Should you be interested in econ, politics or spanish, I'd be happy to teach those as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, China, Costa Rica, France, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Peru, United States
