About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience Portland ^_^

ABOUT ME

We're just settled in Portland (it took us a whole year!) and we are loving it. Plans for a food cart are in the works and going back to school has been amazing. I am a newbie to bartending but plan on diving in to Portland's creative cocktail world with gusto in hopes of becoming epic ^_^. Mostly I'm just hanging out in Oregon and watching my veggie garden grow!

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy what you're doing in the present and the universe will take care of the rest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed and hosted and I enjoy both! It's always refreshing to have new people pop in and out of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed for the first time in Costa Rica (on our first night!) with one of my best friends, Kelsey, and it was the perfect way to be introduced to a completely new and foreign place. We had a really good experience and it's still one of my favorite adventures.

Interests

I love learning about people and I love stories. The sheer number of possiblities of lifestyle and direction make even the simplest, shortest conversation with a stranger invaluable. I also love to eat, drink, and hang with my awesome dog ^_^.

Music, Movies, and Books

lots of all of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flew to India alone on a whim to meet a friend, and fell in love with the country and travelling in general.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very slowly learning (the hard way of course) to take life one day at a time. Our entire lives are made up of single days- they are, essentially, all we have.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, India
