ABOUT ME

I'm Ciera. I have officially lived in Toledo/Sylvania my entire life, but have a heart that wishes to explore the world. I am from a kind of family who believe that people are not about kinds. I never judge a book by its cover. I will try anything once. I love spontaneity and the unexpected. I like to be challenged. I love anything and anyone that can make me laugh. I joke around a lot and can be pretty sarcastic. Yes, I laugh at my own jokes, or even at my own expense. I think Will Ferrell is hilarious and I named my dog Baxter like his dog in Anchorman. I'm easy going and very easy to get along with. I am a very low-maintenance kind of girl. I live for new experiences. I love movies, and I quote them A LOT. I also love to cook, go on road trips for no reason, and have extremely lazy Sundays. I love discovering new delicious brew, though Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy is my current favorite. I absolutely LOVE meeting new people and getting to know what makes them tick. I try to always make the best of any situation and am very adaptable. I think happiness is one of the most important things in life that can be found in the simplest of ways. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not hosted as many people as I would like, but everyone I met has been fantastic. I also had the pleasure of surfing with some awesome locals summer 2011 while backpacking throughout Europe.

Interests

Dive bars and restaurants, cooking, poker, doing anything outdoors on a gorgeous day, Netflix, themed parties, photography, discovering peoples' quirks, anything that makes me laugh, ethnic cuisine, fountain soda (pop), thrift shops, trying new things, vacations/traveling/adventures, meeting new people, having fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two week road trip across the USA with 4 other people. Some people might say the fact we didn't get sick of each other was more amazing then the things we saw haha I disagree. Toledo hasn't been the same since. I also spent 3 week in Europe backpacking with my sister. We visited Paris, Dublin, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rome, and Frankfurt. Among other amazings things, we were able to see USA vs Japan women's world cup in Frankfurt as a last minute decision (literally caught a train and bought the ticket the day of!)
