ABOUT ME

Was married for a long time, now not.
Raised 2 wonderful daughters that I am very close to.
One is 25 and married to a great guy and living in Taiwan.
One is 18, going to a local college and living with me , soon to head off on her own road.
Both my girls have a wandering spirit that I like to think I had something to do with.
I am a self employed architectural/landscape/product designer and have had the good fortune to do some very unusual and fun projects. Most of my travels up to now have been work related.
Now I would like to travel for fun reasons instead of spending most of my days in airports or offices when abroad.
I enjoy discussions with interesting people, out of the way places and meeting the real people who live in the areas I travel.
Have 2 dogs,one very old, american bulldog. the other is a typical midlife fat beagle. Mutt n jeff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Provide a spot to crash for a day or two,for 2 people at a time good conversation and some simple eats.
I have a nice little house in a sleepy hollow down by the Grand river at the edge of town. We only have 2 couches for guests, but will kick the dogs off for you and provide clean sheets and blankets.
