About Me

CURRENT MISSION

1. Finding hosts in Lucerne (Switzerland) we can invite to the KKL for an event and a fine dinner. We have lots of vouchers and too few opportunities to convert them.

2. Trying to find likeminded people to build up a living community.

ABOUT ME

I raised 3 wonderful girls, most of the time on my own. Now they left home and are teaching me to take care of myself. Sofie told me about her experiences with CS backpacking through Australia, I looked at the website and I'm amazed about what sympathetic people share this community. Like them I'm interested in meeting people, learn about their lives and share experiences. Life is such a great gift and Earth such a wonderful place to be in these times. My grand children arw life's greatest gift.

PHILOSOPHY

It's much more rewarding to focus on what goes smoothly than complaining about what doesn't work so well. There's no sense in blaming others for my own calamity.
Life is a blessing if you permit it to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think CS is a great way to contact people of similar interest, people you would not meet without CS. I would love to have more guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great experience on Tenerife and Mallorca and Switserland and ... Karlsruhe.
I remember there was a similar community about 20 years ago and an English woman stayed at our place for a couple of days. She carried her flute and we played together which was a lot of fun. It's so much easier now to keep things going via internet!

Interests

music (classical, world music, jazz), singing (in choir), gardening esp. growing flowers, hiking, watching children grow, share personal experiences and being open for new ones ... I enjoy nature, silence, sunshine and water. And good food with good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

any meaningful ... Music that gives me the creeps, soft and smooth Jazz by good choirs, too.  The movies of the Cosmic Cine Festival that show you how to improve your life and make the world a better place. Like CS. The last novel I read was "Das Wüten der ganzen Welt" by Maarten T'Hart. When I finished it at 5 o'clock in the morning I started it over again. Great novel. But that was a few years ago and I prefer books on Quantum Physics and Healing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on Wayna Picchu with Andrew I met in Peru (unfortunately we lost track of each others) watching a 180 degree rainbow expanding over our heads

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I'm an expert in educating and raising children.
I would like to learn about how to develop my spiritual abilities.
