Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm planning to find some couches with my 2 friends in Europe during my Europe trip. I want to make good friends and invite people i meet to Istanbul where i share a flat with my friends. After our trip, we are planning to host people in Istanbul this fall.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new on couchsurfing.org, so i barely had some couch surfing experiences. It was not in couchsurfing.org but once, i have been in Paris for a week and stayed with a french student. Later on, he came to Istanbul and stayed in my house. It's really fun to meet new people and walk around the city with them.

Interests

One of my biggest interests is TV series. Nowadays, i like to watch Game of Thrones. One of my favorite TV shows is Prison Break. Although it's a little old, i really love the characters. I'm a huge fan of Friends! Sometimes i prefer watching 5 episodes of Friends in my bed rather than going outside.

I'm also interested in music. I play a traditional Turkish instrument. Other than that i listen to music whenever i can, on the subway, while surfing on the web..

Sailing is one of my favorite activities. It's pretty new for me but i'm trying to get better. I also do windsurfing in summers with my brother.

Lastly, i can easily say that i'm a sports guy. I love football, watching matches, playing football, playing games about it, briefly everything about it. I also love tennis, i never miss a match between Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, sometimes i grab my racket and play tennis with my friends in my spare time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing that i have done in my lifetime is to swim in the Bosphore, the sea that seperates Asia from Europe. It was a swimming contest for young people. It was fun and rare to swim between the two continents.
