About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have a little fun before I die, and if I'm very lucky I just might leave this world a better place.

ABOUT ME

Easy going, humorous, healthy, cultivated, well-read, active, intelligent, open-minded, and eager to have fun! If anyone is interested in reading a book about the Appalachian Trail, may I humbly suggest this one:

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies, love books, love music. Let's chat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In St. Petersburg I met someone who spoke no English, and I spoke no Russian. I loved the conversation we had patched together with our sparse commands of the Spanish and French languages!

Hiking the Appalachian Trail for months at a time really gave me strength and a healthy perspective that is helping me live each day and travel to each new place. When you know how it is to put wet shoes and socks on every morning for a week, other problems and inconveniences just don't seem to be that stressful!

Teach, Learn, Share

Bring your knowledge, love, and happiness into the world, and leave the stress, drama, and expectations behind. Read books. Listen to people. Love creatures. Put yourself in other people's shoes. Plant trees.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Palestine, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Russian Federation, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States
