Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Drink wine, eat awesome food, meet cool people
ABOUT ME
Curtis, the man, the mystery. No one really knows what goes on in his head, including himself. A man with the sense of adventure, a lust for understanding cultures, and the fondness of having a nice bottle of wine or two on alternating nights (the other nights he drinks beer and cocktails).
He has fallen in with the traveling world, a camera in one hand and a bag of stylish clothing in the other accompanying him as he wanders around, discovering life and beyond.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life and shit.
Those two actions are not mutually exclusive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've found CS meetings to be awesome, and I've met a good number of amazing people through this website. I would have loved to host people during my time in Berkeley, but my living arrangements have always been so temperamental. Hopefully, I can settle down soon and contribute back to the community more!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've participated in a few events by couchsurfers in Paris (after meeting a random couchsurfer at a cafe). Everyone is super cool and friendly, and it definitely convinced me to join!

If you're looking for new music, I can always supply! My collection of 92.2 gigs of music is every expanding and extends to every variety. If you're still reading this, give "Hundred Waters" (Indie), "Dinosaur Feathers" (Indie Pop), Justin Martin (Deep House), Kishi Bashi (Baroque Pop), Kashiwa Daisuke (IDM/Glitch), or "Vessels" (Indie Rock/Math Rock) a try!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two, as they also supply a bit of my personality
1) Lying in the middle of a wheat field in the French countryside and pointing out constellations with 4 of my best friends.
2) Caressing the spine of a 150-year old hand bound hand-written novel, followed by smelling the pages of a 50-year old book titled "The Gay Cookbook" and reading a few lines from a first edition of the early 1940s hard-boiled novel "12 Chinks and a Woman." People can be strange.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking and I know some things about wine. I'm full of useless trivia and have studied a wide variety of things, ranging from films, books, sciences, food, drink. I'm an amateur bartender, and a fairly acceptable musician if you grant me a cello or violin (not a very good cellist, but I make do)
I may be opinionated about a lot of things, many of which may not necessarily be correct. Feel free to debate and converse with me, and I may very well change my mind! I enjoy discussions about the arts, sexuality/gender identity, FOOD AND DRINK, cultures, and science/technology.
